invitation for grad students: Public History Careers forum

A message from Dr. Jennifer Bonnell:

I’d like to extend an invitation to grad students in the program to join my fourth-year Public History students for a Careers Roundtable in Public History Wednesday November 30 from 1-2:20pm in the History Department Common Room (Vari Hall 2183). The event will include brief, informal presentations by panelists on their career trajectories as public historians, and the challenges and opportunities of their work, followed by discussion and questions from the audience.

Panelists include:

-Jennifer Harrington, Curator, Black Creek Pioneer Village
-Kyle Neill, Senior Archivist, Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA)
-Kaitlin Wainwright, Acting Executive Director, Heritage Toronto
-Matthew Wilkinson, Historian, Heritage Mississauga
-Paula Wubbenhorst, Senior Heritage Coordinator, Culture Division, City of Mississauga
-Jay Young, Outreach Officer, Archives of Ontario
